Job Description
Oversee the submission of Main Contract progress claims, variation claims, and EOT claims.
Lead the preparation and negotiation of subcontract agreements and final accounts.
Resolve contractual disputes with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Manage cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control for construction projects.
Prepare detailed cost comparisons and procurement recommendations for review by senior management.
Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets.
Lead the preparation and submission of variation orders, claims, and EOT requests.
Ensure all claims are supported by accurate documentation and comply with contract terms.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including cost forecasts and cash flow projections.
Maintain accurate records of contracts, claims, and procurement activities.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and clients on contractual and financial matters.
Ensure compliance with Singapore building regulations, contract forms, and company policies.
Identify and mitigate financial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably with an A1 main contractor in Singapore.
Advanced knowledge of construction estimating methods, cost control principles, and procurement processes.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to lead teams under tight deadline.
