Job Summary:
The Senior / Sales Engineer is mainly responsible for executing sales & marketing initiatives, engaging new customers, and maintaining the relationship with existing accounts in order to bring in revenue for the Aerospace Business Group.
Job Responsibilities:
• Achieve or exceed sales target and profit margin in assigned growth location/segment by:
• Executing sales initiatives and strategies
• Responding to customer inquiries or issues promptly
• Developing new customer accounts through sales and marketing activities
• Expand sales portfolio to all existing and new potential customers
• Updating Opportunities Management Tracking and Account Development Plan promptly
• Supporting any marketing-related activities to improve the presence and customer knowledge of the products distributed by the company
• Providing customer feedback to the Research and Development team and Business Group management.
People Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the aviation industry
• Minimum 5 years of experience is needed for the senior position.
• Minimum NITEC/Diploma in a related field.
• Field sales experience is vital.
Proven ability to interact directly with a sales organization, understand customer needs and influence them.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and maintain a high level of Sales Discipline
