We are a trading company specializing in the trading of OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) and Semiconductor Products.
We are seeking a Senior / Sales Engineer preferably with a background in the semiconductor industry and expertise in backend assembly processes.
As a Senior / Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving business development activities, establishing and nurturing relationships with semiconductor clients, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and business development plan to expand market presence and achieve sales targets for OSAT and Semiconductor Products.
- Identify and prospect potential clients in the semiconductor industry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target accounts, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position our OSAT and Semiconductor Products and solutions.
- Conduct market research, analyze customer requirements, and provide valuable insights to internal teams for product development and improvement.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management, highlighting sales performance, market trends, and business development opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.
- Stay updated with industry advancements, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in the semiconductor field, with a specific focus on backend assembly processes.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSAT and Semiconductor Products, including an understanding of backend assembly processes will be added advantages
- Existing network and relationships with semiconductor clients and industry professionals, particularly in backend assembly, is a significant advantage.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively to customers
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving sales objectives.
