The candidate would be responsible for driving the business development/sales growth for our client's range of foods products.
Focusing on building strong customer relationships and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales strategies and plans to achieve the company's revenue targets and market share goals.
- Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive analysis
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Analyze market data, historical sales trends, and demand patterns to forecast sales volumes and plan inventory levels.
- Coordinate with production and supply chain teams
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop relationships with potential customers, conduct sales presentations, negotiate deals, and close contracts.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, such as revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies.
- Provide input on product positioning, pricing, promotional activities, and marketing campaigns to maximize sales effectiveness.
- Develop and manage the sales budget, including sales expenses, incentives, and promotional activities.
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the FMCG food sector.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of sales activities with overall business objectives.
Requirements:
- Diploma & above Experience
- Solid background in sales, preferably within the FMCG industry.
(Foodservice) - Progressive career through various sales roles, gaining hands-on experience in account management, business development, and sales leadership.
