Enforce company rules and regulation and requirements of the Port Facility Security Plan.
Review company procedures and risk assessment.
Ensure company procedures, risk assessments and instructions are followed and updated when necessary.
Manager and supervise deployed in-house and security agency security officers on day-to-day security operations.
Monitor the performance and development of in-house and agency security personnel, addressing any disciplinary issues.
Ensure security personnel in the team obtain the necessary training, licenses and certification required to perform their duties.
Plan, coordinate and deploy security personnel for internal and external events.
Lead the team of security officers responding to incidents and emergencies.
Plan and execute security drills and exercises.
Perform security surveys and assessments such as the Port Facility Security Assessment to identify security threats and recommend measures to mitigate those threats.
Ensure the implementation of security policies, protocols and procedures.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address security issues, surface process vulnerabilities and improvement.
Ensure condition of security systems and equipment are working and escalate to the relevant party to rectify any faults.
Represent the security department when participating in internal and external meetings.
Put up reports such as incident reports, drill and exercise reports, police report, etc.
Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Department Head.
Diploma or Degree in any field.
GCE 'O'/'N' Level or equivalent.
Possess valid PLRD License.
WSQ Recognize Terrorist Threats / Handle Counter-Terrorism Activities.
Minimum PLRD SO grade of Senior Security Supervisor.
Candidates who possess class 3 driving license and drives a car are preferred.
Candidates who have Port Facility Security Officer or International Ship and Port Facility
Security Code Auditor certificates are preferred.
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a managerial capacity in the security operations field.
Ex-Police Officers are welcomed to apply.
Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Good interview and report writing skills.
Possess incident management (command & control) skills.
Able to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
Physically fit to perform supervisory checks and inspection on personnel performing static gate duty, document checks, cargo and material checks, and patrols along perimeter, inside buildings and yard operational areas.
Possess good leadership qualities, managerial, decision-making and inter-personal skills.
