Role Responsibilities:
Work with a team of DevOps engineers in a developed software program during the maintenance phase of the application.
Deep understanding of technologies in the major cloud providers space, working with build, deployment and administration.
Communicate with various vendors and customers.
Work with the team to troubleshoot software and infrastructure problems to ensure that the system meets operational expectations, quality standards and within schedule.
To accommodate customer’s operational needs, there will sometimes be work outside of regular business hours.
Experience in AWS Cloud technologies such as EC2, S3, Lambda and RDS
Provide L3 support for cloud environments and middleware, which includes change, system administration, performance and availability management.
Coordinate major/minor releases and deployments, ensuring the environment is prepared for testing and public release within the timeframe allocated.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree Computer Science, or related field.
Four (4) or more years of experience in the job offered or related role.
Must have two (2) years of experience with Linux and Cloud platforms, carrying out operational activities.
Experience with AWS, exposure to other cloud service providers (CSP) technologies would be a plus.
A team-player who can take initiative.
Have the skills and resilience to handle situations and deliver results on time.
Experience in working with Government projects would be a plus.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to mentor other team members.
Experience as a team lead would be an advantage
Technical Requirements:
AWS Certified Solution Architect - Associate
Proficiency in Linux or RHEL
Experience in CI/CD deployment tools
Experience with GCC (Government on Commercial Cloud) would be a plus.
Experience with SGTS (Singapore Government Tech Stack) tools would be a plus.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) especially Terraform and Ansible.
Experience with Git.
Bash scripting, and possess coding experience on Java, NodeJS, and Python would be a plus.
