It is seeking to employ an
experienced professional to join them as
Senior Sustainability Manager (Ref: KHXXX)
Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Group’s
Sustainability matters by way of developing and coordinating the sustainability
efforts/initiatives across the Group through working with the relevant operational and
functional areas to identify prospective projects and develop and review sustainability
targets across all ESG elements; with an emphasis on enhancing assessment and
disclosures on climate risks and the decarbonization roadmap.
The Job
Develop and implement sustainability framework, strategies and priorities and
establish goals in consultation with senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure sustainability policies, strategies and priorities align with the Group’s long-
term sustainability plan of achieving carbon-neutrality by year 2050.
Work with consultants to research on global and local sustainability practices and
benchmark latest Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) / sustainability
trends and integrate recommendations into the Group’s objectives and operations.
Support CFO to provide commercial and technical analyses for the
implementation of sustainability efforts.
Monitor and evaluate projects and processes to seek improvements in
environmental impact regulation compliance.
Work with various departments to incorporate sustainability practices and set
conservation and environmental goals.
Implement and monitor sustainability initiatives / projects across the Group and
conduct regular stakeholder engagement meetings to ensure objectives are met.
Assist the CFO to oversee the Sustainability and environmental risk reporting
(TCFD or any other relevant standards) requirement.
Undertake any other adhoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.
The Candidate
Preferably degree-qualified with a passion for driving sustainability achievements.
Demonstrated knowledge of sustainable business principles and practices and
experience related to operational implementation and experience in a business
setting.
Demonstrated success at managing complex initiatives from concept.
Ability to own and manage complex projects with a high level of
independence.
Ability to achieve goals through influence and objective-sharing without direct
authority.
Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and effectively champion a
position within multiple competing priorities.
Ability to effectively communicate and translate complex technical information
across multiple audiences, from internal business meetings.
Ability to perform quantitative tasks with speed and accuracy, including collection
and management of data.
Familiarity with the telecommunications industry is a plus.
