Job Summary
The Executive/Higher Executive - Applications (Information Technology) plays a dual role as a Business Analyst and Technical Lead, driving the design and implementation of enterprise applications and cloud-based solutions.
This includes leading initiatives in Microsoft Azure, Full Stack Web Development, Boomi, and Low-Code Platforms such as OutSystems.
The role involves analysing business requirements, designing system solutions, ensuring technical feasibility, and managing stakeholder expectations.
The incumbent will also lead technical teams, guide solution architecture, and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks
Identify business needs: Liaise with stakeholders to identify and document business needs and pain points.
Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed solutions.
Develop business cases highlighting benefits, risks, and ROI of cloud and web-based initiatives.
Analyse business processes
Review and map existing processes to identify automation and optimisation opportunities.
Recommend and implement process improvements using cloud-native and low-code platforms.
Develop strategic reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
Develop technical specification & Lead Implementation
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Lead the design and development of solutions using Azure services, full stack technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, .NET), and OutSystems.
Collaborate with developers and vendors to ensure technical alignment and scalability.
Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business expectations.
Manage risks and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Facilitate change management
Develop and execute change management plans for new systems and upgrades.
Create technical documentation and training materials tailored to end-users.
Conduct training sessions and act as a point of contact for complex queries.
Manage programmes & Technical Delivery
Plan and track project milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide regular updates to management and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Champion agile practices and continuous improvement in delivery processes.
Job Requirements
Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in application development, business analysis, or technical leadership.
Hands-on experience with: Microsoft Azure, Full Stack Web Development, OutSystems or other low-code platforms, Boomi, Mulesoft, Middleware skills.
Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
