Since 2007, we have provided a wide range of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering consultancy services and are now expanding our Lead Design Consultancy Capability across the APAC region.
Responsibilities
Manage small, medium, and large projects in Singapore and throughout Asia Pacific.
Develop, design, and coordinate engineering project services for mechanical systems, installations, and facilities, acting as the primary client interface.
Produce drawings, calculations, schedules, and specifications for related mechanical/electrical systems.
Focus on designing Mission Critical Data Centre Mechanical services, including all equipment, systems, and interfaces such as cooling, AC, ventilation, generators, hydraulic systems, plumbing, and fire protection.
Conduct feasibility, due diligence, condition/dilapidation surveys, and tests on new and existing sites concerning mechanical services.
Visit sites regularly to inspect during construction and ensure designs are practically and accurately realized.
Specify activities to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and testing meet specifications and client requirements.
Make daily decisions on project progress, deliverables, and liaise with clients.
Represent the company in technical meetings with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
Ensure engineering deliverables meet industry and legal standards.
Coordinate engineering services internally between MEP disciplines and externally with other design teams.
Apply holistic engineering concepts and solutions.
Based in Singapore, with potential travel across the region and between offices.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years' experience, including 3 years in Data Centre design.
Experience across Commercial, High Rise, Hotels & Leisure sectors is advantageous.
Singapore PE registration or progressing towards it.
Proven experience in producing drawings, calculations, schedules, and specifications for various building types.
Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including Singapore DfS.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and BIM/CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Hevacomp, IES, and Amtec.
Understanding of Singapore and regional standards, regulations, and codes.
Motivated, dependable, with strong engineering fundamentals.
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and perform complex project/business analysis.
Strong managerial skills focused on projects and resources.
Qualifications
Degree or higher in engineering or equivalent experience.
