Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of hardware, software, and network systems for project delivery.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence of issues.
Support operational systems in line with contractual
Service Level Agreements (SLAs) .
Perform and manage preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault rectification promptly and effectively.
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Diagnose, escalate, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Undertake standby duties as required.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with
Windows Server OS
and
Unix/Linux OS
in virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Good knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including:
Networking : VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches
Hardware : servers, SAN (Storage Area Networks), and NAS (Network-Attached Storage) devices
System Services : Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Exchange/Mail, databases, and web/application servers
Experience in
system/OS hardening
and
patch management .
Familiarity with programming languages (SQL, Java, C++, JavaScript) is an advantage.
