Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of hardware, software, and network systems for project delivery.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Support operational systems in line with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) .
- Perform and manage preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault rectification promptly and effectively.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Diagnose, escalate, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Undertake standby duties as required.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server OS and Unix/Linux OS in virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including:
Networking : VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches
Hardware : servers, SAN (Storage Area Networks), and NAS (Network-Attached Storage) devices
System Services : Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Exchange/Mail, databases, and web/application servers
- Experience in system/OS hardening and patch management .
- Familiarity with programming languages (SQL, Java, C++, JavaScript) is an advantage.
