About The Job

The main purpose of this position is to execute all services of our 360º service portfolio on specific products, modules, and systems.

Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of Alfa Laval equipment, i.e., decanters and separators for the Crude Palm Oil industry.

Commissioning including checking of equipment installation, training of operators in equipment operation, maintenance, and safety.

Maintaining communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.

Perform repair inspection and prepare repair reports.

Conduct test trials including process performance.

What You Know

  • Hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Good team player and able to work well with others.

  • Quick to adapt, interact, and commit to action in providing customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to multitask and liaise with professionals in different fields.

  • Ability to explain problems simply and clearly.

  • Analyze blueprints, sketches, or computer-aided designs to determine the best approach to create a particular part.

  • Welding stainless steel in all positions for projects in pharmaceutical, Food & Water, and Oil & Gas industries.

  • Selection and setup of appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project requirements.

  • Testing and inspecting welded surfaces for flaws.

  • Other relevant skills or experience will be a plus.
