Job Purpose
To provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests at the new Indian restaurant outlet, ensuring they enjoy a memorable dining experience with authentic Indian cuisine.
Service Crew members act as the link between guests and the kitchen, creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
Greet, seat, and attend to guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Present menus and explain Indian dishes (curries, thalis, breads, spice levels, vegetarian options).
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve them promptly.
- Recommend specials, beverages, and desserts to enhance the dining experience.
Dining Room Operations
Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
- Assist with reservations and waiting list management if required.
- Support smooth communication between guests and kitchen.
Cashiering & Support
Process bills and handle payments when required.
- Assist with packing takeaway/delivery orders.
- Support promotions and festive menus (e.g., Diwali, Eid, Pongal).
Compliance & Hygiene
Follow grooming and service standards set by management.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and liquor service regulations.
- Uphold a clean and safe working environment.
Skills & Competencies
Pleasant personality with good communication skills.
- Ability to explain Indian dishes to both Indian and non-Indian guests.
- Experience in F&B service preferred, but training will be provided.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and reliability.
- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
