The Service & Project Engineer plays a critical role in bringing these experiences to life — managing end-to-end delivery from design to commissioning, while ensuring exceptional post-sales service and client satisfaction.
This role blends hands-on technical expertise, project execution, and client-facing communication, ideal for someone who thrives on solving challenges and building technology that connects people.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Service Delivery
Manage and execute AV projects across diverse environments (meeting rooms, control rooms, digital signage, hybrid workspaces).
Oversee service issues and break-fix cases with a problem-solving mindset and timely resolution.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance, system health checks, and structured power-up/power-down procedures.
Coordinate closely with internal teams (Sales, Design, Technical) and external stakeholders (clients, main contractors, subcontractors) to ensure smooth delivery and communication flow.
Technical Execution
Perform site surveys, assess project requirements, and ensure on-site works align with technical standards and safety regulations.
Execute installation, wiring, soldering/crimping, and equipment racking with precision.
Configure, test, and commission AV & VC systems (e.g., Q-SYS, Extron, AMX, Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms).
Conduct system troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution during and after deployment.
Perform basic DSP and control system programming and fine-tuning as required.
Client Service & Support
Provide client training on system operation and maintenance best practices.
Deliver post-installation support, preventive maintenance, and corrective servicing to ensure system reliability.
Respond to service tickets, technical escalations, and event-based support needs (e.g., townhall setups).
Schedule and conduct recurring maintenance—annually, bi-annually, or quarterly depending on client requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Strong technical foundation in Audio Visual systems integration.
Hands-on experience with AV commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
Proven coordination skills across cross-functional teams and external partners.
Excellent communication, organization, and client engagement skills.
