Position : Service Technician/ Engineer
Location : Tuas
Working schedule : Monday - Friday, 8.30am 5.30pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair pumps/motors and machines, including disassembly and reassembly to repair or replace worn or malfunctioning components and consumables.
- Address and resolve customer issues through close interaction, including explaining problem diagnoses and discussing repair options.
- Attend on-site requests and repairs, including on-board vessel services.
- Participate in ongoing training events sponsored by the company to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and repair options.
- Generate inspection and test reports, maintaining proper documentation of all maintenance and repair records.
- Lead in Energy Cylinders repair (training will be provided).
Required Knowledge, Competencies, and Attributes:
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in hydraulic pump/motor repair with basic troubleshooting skills.
- Possess technical skills to resolve issues on-site, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to test systems to verify successful installation or repairs.
- Proficiency in PC use to prepare basic inspection reports.
- Availability to respond to service calls on-site and on-board ships at short notice.
