Job Summary:
We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team and support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and modules.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building solutions within the ServiceNow platform and will play a key role in automating IT service management (ITSM) and other business workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.
- Design and implement solutions for ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or other ServiceNow modules as needed.
- Create and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, data policies, and integrations.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to development and security best practices within the ServiceNow platform.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with other developers and teams to integrate ServiceNow with external systems (via REST, SOAP, MID Servers, etc.).
- Maintain documentation related to application development, system configurations, and customizations.
- Support platform upgrades and new feature rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow development frameworks.
- Experience with at least one core module: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, or CSM .
- Understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and data models.
- Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and integration tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in an agile environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required or in progress.
- Additional certifications such as:ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM/HRSD Implementation Specialist
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira.
- Familiarity with Service Portal and UI customization.
- Experience with performance tuning and ServiceNow instance health monitoring.
