With annual profits consistently exceeding $2 billion, they leverage a sophisticated, data-driven approach to navigate complex markets—including crude oil, refined products, natural gas, power, and metals—connecting producers with end-users worldwide.
Complementing their core trading activities, the company is also a recognized leader in financing the global energy transition, investing significantly in renewable energy, biofuels, and decarbonization technologies.
They are currently seeking a Settlements Operator (Paper) in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Settlement Management: Execute accurate and timely settlement for the company's full product portfolio of physical and financial products, covering Oil (Brent, Gasoil, Fuel Oil, and other components), Gas, LNG, Power, Metals, and Derivatives.
- Discrepancy Resolution and Reconciliation: Proactively reconcile trade details between internal systems and external counterparties, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth end-of-day processes and seamless settlement operations.
- Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear communication with external partners to efficiently resolve queries and provide regular updates to management on outstanding issues, settlement status and key metrics.
- Process Optimization and Control: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance controls, automate workflows, and improve the overall efficiency and resilience of the settlement function across products.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Min.
3 years of relevant working experience in similar role - Prior experience in PPA settlements is highly preferred
- Working knowledge with ICTS or other commodity risk systems would be advantageous
- Excellent numerical and analytical capabilities.
Proficient in handling and analyzing - large datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
VBA/Python coding knowledge is ideal - Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
