Scope of Work
The proposed candidates will be part of the Information Technology Shared Services (ITSS) team to support the following activities:
a) Oversee maintenance-related activities for SharePoint.
b) Provide technical support for SharePoint Online users for incidents, Change Requests (CRs), and Service Requests (SRs), along with periodic status updates.
c) Manage the existing SharePoint farm and all third-party tools and software deployed.
d) Conduct periodic environment health assessments.
e) Address questions or concerns from business owners or directors regarding the SharePoint platform.
f) Configure new SharePoint sites and manage access control.
g) Deploy custom features, develop SharePoint applications, and customize sites.
h) Perform migration of sites and content using ShareGate.
i) Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all SharePoint-related patches, service packs, and server configurations.
j) Support monthly rollout of Windows security patches to SharePoint servers.
k) Ensure system compliance with relevant IT security policies, standards, and audit requirements.
l) Complete assigned tasks within the timelines designated by the project manager.
m) Collaborate with internal teams to devise optimal ways to align SharePoint functionality with business goals.
n) Create and deliver updated system user guides, including training documentation and user manuals related to business processes and systems.
1.2 Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
a) Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, preferably with certification in SharePoint System Administration and/or SharePoint Development.
b) Preferably at least one (1) year of working experience in a Government, Research, or Educational institution with both SOE and non-SOE environments.
c) In-depth knowledge of various versions of SharePoint, including SharePoint Online; proficient in Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer and at least 10 years of combined experience as
a SharePoint Administrator and Developer.
d) Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SharePoint services, farm topology, branding, design, and development platforms.
e) Demonstrated knowledge of SharePoint functionality and customization capabilities.
f) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers, Windows and SQL Servers, and Microsoft Azure.
g) Proficient in managing Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
h) Skilled in configuring and administering SharePoint Online, including site collections, document libraries, permissions, metadata, and retention policies.
i) Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and OneDrive settings, including access control, external sharing, and lifecycle management.
j) Familiar with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, PowerShell scripting (MS Online, PnP PowerShell), and basic Microsoft Graph API usage.
k) Knowledge of Microsoft Purview compliance features, Conditional Access Policies, and audit log analysis.
l) Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Automate and Power Apps) for building workflows and forms in SharePoint and Teams.
m) Adherence to best practices in site provisioning, governance, user adoption, and Microsoft 365 security.
n) Certifications such as MS-900, MS-102, PL-100, or SC-300 are an added advantage.
o) Knowledge of best practices for maintaining information security within SharePoint.
p) Ability to think creatively to implement custom solutions using SharePoint.
q) Strong development background in SharePoint Online and Power Platform; proficiency in Windows PowerShell, PnP PowerShell, SPO PowerShell; experience with SPFx, PlumSail Form Designer, C# with .NET Core / .NET 8+, and (JavaScript/TypeScript).
Additional experience in Azure AD App Registration, Microsoft Graph API, SharePoint OAuth scopes, JSON/XML parsing, Azure Key Vault, web
services, .NET Framework 4.7+, ShareGate, and SharePoint/M365 admin tools is required.
r) Knowledge of SharePoint branding and experience supporting large or enterprise-level SharePoint solutions.
s) Strong communication skills.
t) Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
u) Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
1.2.1 Additional Skills (ServiceNow)
These ServiceNow skills are not mandatory but will be considered valuable:
a) Proficiency in ServiceNow development tools, including Service Portal, Service Catalog, Workflow, App Engine, low-code development, and scripting.
b) Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data models, and integration capabilities.
c) Ability to design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.
d) Experience developing and modifying ServiceNow workflows, forms, lists, business rules, UI components, web services, tables, and menus.
e) Experience with custom application development, integrations, and automation using ServiceNow.
f) ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) are a plus.
