We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Interior Design Showroom Sales Executive to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, excellent sales skills, and the ability to create exceptional customer experiences both in indoor and outdoor settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing expert advice on interior design products and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information on features, benefits, and pricing.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer requests in a timely manner.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the showroom.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in interior design and outdoor living.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the showroom's product offerings, including furniture, décor, outdoor furniture, and accessories.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Showroom Maintenance:
- Ensure the showroom is visually appealing, organized, and reflects the company's brand and style.
- Coordinate with the merchandising team to update displays and ensure products are showcased effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking and product replenishment.
Client Consultations:
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their design preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget constraints.
- Provide personalized design solutions and create mood boards or design presentations.
- Offer recommendations for both indoor and outdoor spaces, considering functionality, aesthetics, and current design trends.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with the sales team, designers, and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve showroom operations and sales strategies.
- Assist with organizing and executing showroom events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
Outdoor Sales Activities:
- Occasionally visit clients' homes or outdoor spaces to assess their needs and provide tailored design solutions.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors for outdoor projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the interior design or home décor industry.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles and trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
