Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Operations in managing daily activities and responsibilities within the Operations Department.
* Collaborate with the Operations Administration and Sales & Marketing teams to execute projects, including conducting site surveys, preparing design and technical documentation (e.g., method statements, safe work procedures, risk assessments, fall prevention plans, and lifting plans), arranging manpower and logistics for delivery, installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, shifting, dismantling, and returning of construction equipment.
* Implement and maintain operational systems and work closely with customers to monitor site progress and coordinate with the workshop.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all works comply with contractual scopes, customer specifications, and manufacturer requirements, and take prompt corrective action where necessary.
* Prepare and submit comprehensive service reports—including photos, work completion forms, weekly inspection, and maintenance checklists—to both customers and the Head of Operations.
* Coordinate with Accredited Engineers (AEs) and Professional Engineers (PEs) on design work, inspections, and testing; ensure timely submission of drawings, calculations, Certificates of Supervision (COS), and Load Monitoring (LM) certificates.
* Conduct user training sessions and safety briefings and assist in organizing safety campaigns.
* Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and prepare detailed incident reports with photographic evidence.
* Oversee the training, productivity, and welfare of teams assigned by the Head of Operations.
* Ensure full accountability of all construction equipment and accessories on-site, and implement necessary controls to prevent loss or damage.
* Perform asset and inventory reconciliation; generate and submit monthly reports for management review.
* Utilize the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for day-to-day operations and support its implementation and continuous improvement.
* Ensure all procedures, products, and services comply with company policies, relevant government regulations, and ISO standards.
* Maintain proper documentation and historical records for annual financial audits and ISO compliance.
* Undertake additional duties or responsibilities as assigned or required by management.
Requirements
* Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and written skills.
* Proven leadership ability and experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
* Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
* Must possess a valid driver's license and have own vehicle.
* Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems is advantageous.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
