Responsibilities:
* Provide engineering support to the shipbuilding division, including assisting the marketing team with client retention and identifying new business opportunities.
* Support the commercial newbuilding and ship repair teams in tender exercises for newbuilding and conversion projects.
* Review contracts, technical specifications, and equipment requirements to ensure alignment with design obligations.
* Develop basic design concepts to support newbuilding tender submissions.
* Prepare drawing schedules and coordinate technical meetings with clients, classification societies, designers, vendors, and system integrators.
* Execute engineering and design production plans for awarded newbuilding projects.
* Interpret classification society rules and maritime regulations; demonstrate the ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in *Marine Engineering**, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum *5 years of engineering experience** in the marine or offshore industry.
Proficient in *Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint**, and AutoCAD.
* Strong understanding of shipbuilding processes and project workflows; capable of interpreting technical specifications and engaging in technical discussions with clients.
* Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel for technical meetings as required.
