Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage day-to-day activities of road construction and ground foundation works.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control on site.
Oversee traffic diversion plans and ensure smooth operations in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Manage and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of the project.
Monitor progress of construction activities and prepare regular reports for project management.
Conduct inspections and resolve issues related to site works.
Liaise with the local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of relevant local experience in road construction, ground foundation works, and traffic diversion.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board or equivalent qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as a Resident Engineer.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
