We are searching for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of professionals.
The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.
To be successful as a quantity surveyor, you should have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills.
Outstanding quantity surveyors are not only great at analyzing costs, but they also know how to read people and tailor their negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible outcome.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
Preparation documents for BQ, variation orders, cost estimate, cost control and budgeting.
Taking of quantities, sourcing subcontractors and suppliers, pricing.
Keeping track of materials ordered as well as rentals and requesting cash top up when required.
Managing Project Cost and Purchase request from site.
Document management, filing and folders management in server
Preparedocuments for calling of quote from subcontractors or suppliers .
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
Requirements:
Min Diploma in Building / Construction or Quantity Surveying
Able to use AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
Good communication skills
Independent & responsible for the construction project assigned
Resourceful & maintain good relationship with sub-contractors.
Min 1-3 years experience
Preferably able to start work immediately.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.45pm
Work Location: 19 Burn Road (Near Tai Seng Mrt)
Salary: $3, $3,800.00 per month
