Responsibilities
Manage and plan the construction project.
Laying down the preferred construction methods.
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc.
and give them guidance when needed
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Requirements and skills
At least 15 years related working experience in Building Construction
In-depth understanding of RC structure work, expert in Formwork and Rebar.
Well known in construction procedures and material and project management principles
Working hours 6 days per week
Available to work Night shift when needed.
Available to work on weekends, when site need.
Strong construction background to discuss and advise technical matters with Main and Sub Contractors.
Excellent Communication skills and highly organized, driven and conscientious.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to communicate and engage with Mandarin speaking customers
