re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is an electronics processing, reuse and recycling company that works to extend the life of used electronic equipment through reuse, repair and recycling.
We are a stand‐alone company within the Amazon corporate family that provides services to other Amazon companies.
We specialise in the handling of valuable electronic equipment that was originally used in data centres.
We’re looking for a detail‐oriented, experienced and professional Security Manager with experience managing security of large critical infrastructure installations, ideally in high‐security environments.
You will have professional experience managing people with varying skill sets, devising strategies, creating, tracking and managing budgets, sponsoring projects and driving improvements of our security readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology, and risks and threats that could impact the operation
Perform annual risk analysis and provide leadership and best practices on security policy and practices
Support the operations team with security‐related advice and guidance as well as contract security staff in achieving current and long‐range strategic program objectives
Collaborate with peers at other sites and regions to ensure a safe and secure environment and safeguard the protection of the assets within the operation
Educate stakeholders on the importance of emergency readiness, encourage a culture of security awareness, conduct regular drills and update all plans annually
Provide periodic performance, program and strategic roadmap briefings to senior leaders
Basic Qualifications
5+ years’ experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as access control, intrusion detection and CCTV surveillance systems
5+ years of project management experience
5+ years creating process improvement procedures
5+ years managing a team of individual contributors and vendors
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent professional experience in a corporate or government security environment
5+ years experience creating and implementing emergency planning programs, physical security countermeasures
Familiarity with security program automation and implementation
Familiarity with various access and intrusion control systems
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‐technical individuals regarding physical security standards and system designs
