Roles & Responsibilities:
Site Management & Supervision
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on site to ensure smooth execution of
works.
- Monitor progress against project schedule and report any delays, risks, or issues to the Project
Manager/Engineer.
Workforce & Subcontractor Coordination
Supervise site workers, allocate tasks, and monitor productivity to achieve daily targets.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure work is carried out according to scope, timeline,
and quality requirements.
Safety, Health & Compliance
- Enforce safety regulations and conduct daily toolbox meetings to promote a safe working
environment.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., Workplace Safety & Health Act) and
company policies.
Quality Assurance & Control
- Inspect workmanship and verify materials delivered to site meet required standards and
specifications.
- Highlight and rectify any non-conformities or defects in a timely manner.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of manpower deployment, work progress, site issues, and material
usage.
- Submit daily or weekly site reports to management, highlighting achievements and potential
concerns.
Problem Solving & Coordination
- Identify and resolve site-related challenges such as technical issues, manpower shortages, or
material delays.
- Liaise with project stakeholders including clients, consultants, and suppliers to address queries
and support project delivery.
