Overview
We are seeking a Senior/ Control Engineer (Electrical) to drive the design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems for automation and robotics.
This role focuses on electrical systems, motor drives, PLC-based automation and robotic control, ensuring reliable and high-performance operation.
Responsibilities
Design and integrate electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, sensors, and actuators.
Develop and optimize motor drive and power electronic systems for motion control.
Implement closed-loop control strategies using real-time sensor feedback.
Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical control systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical controls with mechanical and software systems.
Stay current with new technologies and propose improvements to enhance automation capabilities.
Qualifications
Credentials in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering.
5+ years of experience in electrical control engineering, automation, robotics, or related fields.
Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, etc.) and industrial protocols (EtherCAT, Profinet, Modbus, CANbus).
Strong knowledge of motor drives, power electronics, electrical circuit design and robotics system creation.
Hands-on experience with system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with safety systems, standards (IEC, ISO, NFPA).
Desirable: Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, machine safety compliance (SIL/PL), Industry 4.0/IIoT technologies.
