Job Title: Social Services Coordinator

Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality social services, including family/individual counselling, group work, assessment and recommendations for financial assistance and case management.
Your primary goal will be to provide effective support and guidance to our clients, empowering them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Casework and Intervention: You will conduct casework, deliver intervention, and develop care plans that cater to the unique needs of our clients.
- Group Work and Community Engagement: You will design and facilitate group work sessions, engaging with community agencies to promote collaborative partnerships and maximize resources.
- Client Interviews and Assessments: You will conduct thorough client interviews and assessments to identify areas of need and develop tailored solutions.
- Crisis Management and Safety: You will ensure the safety and well-being of our clients by managing crisis situations effectively and promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
- Training and Development: You will participate in professional development courses to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain up-to-date with best practices in social services.
- Administrative Support: You will provide administrative support, including data entry, record-keeping, and other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Education and Qualifications: A degree or postgraduate diploma in Social Work or a related field from a recognized institution is essential.
- Professional Registration: Registration with the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW) Accreditation Board is mandatory.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in social services is required, preferably working with individuals with mild intellectual disabilities.
- Key Skills: You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be patient, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Culture and Language: Familiarity with local dialects and cultures is an asset, enabling you to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
