Professional Profile
We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide social work services and therapeutic interventions to children, their care-givers, and incarcerated parents.
- Casework Management: Register and orientate new families through the intake process, provide information and referral services, conduct home visits and prison visits as part of the intervention plan, and aftercare services for inmates upon release from prison.
- Volunteer Development: Screen, recruit, train, and develop volunteers for programs as required.
- Group Work: Plan and facilitate group work sessions for children and youth, caregiver support groups, parent training, and other workshops, including sessions for incarcerated parents.
- Programme Planning: Plan and execute programs and activities for children, youth, and families aligned with the vision and mission of the organization, conduct review and evaluation of programs for future fine-tuning.
- Prison Playroom:
- Registration of children in the playroom located at the prison link centre.
- Manage and maintain the playroom in good condition.
- Community Outreach: Collate and analyze needs of target population clients, assess and bridge gaps between stakeholders and beneficiaries, work with various stakeholders to achieve the vision.
Qualifications
- Degree in Social Work from a recognized university.
- Accredited as Registered Social Worker with a relevant accreditation body.
- At least 1-2 years in direct social work is preferred.
