Role Summary
Own the end-to-end delivery and quality of our merchant-facing digital products —Membership Platform.
You will lead cross-functional delivery (product/engineering/ops), oversee PoC and feature rollout, and ensure security, reliability and compliance as we scale across Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
- Software & Applications Management
- Oversee the acquisition, development and deployment of software systems and platform features; set acceptance criteria and release readiness.
- Lead Proof-of-Concepts (PoC) and solution experiments; ensure security and risk factors are considered in design and implementation.
- Merchant Delivery & Onboarding
- Drive full-cycle rollout for merchants: environment checks, account/menu setup, payment linkage, UAT, go-live, hypercare (D+30).
- Standardise SOPs, runbooks and checklists; track order success rate, reconciliation accuracy, message delivery/engagement.
- Quality & Testing Framework
- Build an application QA system covering functional, performance, refund/exception and multi-merchant scenarios.
- Adapt APQP/IPD concepts to digital delivery (quality gates, FMEA-style risk logs, lesson learn).
- Implement incident dashboards, alerting and RCA/8D closure; drive preventive actions with engineering.
- Data-Driven Operations
- Partner with data team to convert operational telemetry (uptime, latency, error rate, refund rate, campaign lift) into actionable insights.
- Maintain merchant segmentation templates (New/Active/Dormant/VIP) and service-level scorecards.
- Supplier & IoT Quality
- Coordinate with hardware/SDK vendors (payments, messaging, sensors) to meet SLAs; enforce corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor installation success, device uptime and field failure rates; plan spares and RMA processes.
- Compliance & Localisation
- Ensure PDPA and local privacy compliance; maintain consent & audit trails.
- Localise delivery SOPs for SG/ID/MY (language, payment methods, device standards).
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Chair change/release readiness; align product roadmaps with field issues; mentor a high-performing delivery/quality team.
Minimum Requirements
- Either of the following (meet one):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or related; or
- Minimum 3 years' experience in one or more of these roles: Software and Applications Manager, Software Development Manager, Head of Applications Development, Application Development Manager.
- 5+ years leading software delivery/QA/production operations for SaaS, platforms or complex systems.
- Proven cross-functional leadership with measurable quality outcomes (SLA/SLO, incident MTTR, release quality).
- Hands-on with modern release practices (UAT/SIT, observability/alerting, CI/CD hygiene, post-mortems).
Preferred
- Experience integrating payments/messaging SDKs and IoT devices in offline merchant environments.
- Familiarity with APQP/IPD-style quality gates、FMEA/RCA/8D、supplier quality management
