The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager in our Technology Consulting department, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing SAP software and application projects.

You will be responsible for providing expert guidance and technical leadership to ensure the successful implementation, integration, and optimization of SAP solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of SAP technologies, strong project management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that align with our clients' business objectives.

Responsibilities

1. SAP Implementation: Lead and oversee end-to-end SAP software and application implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
   
   
2. Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business requirements, identify opportunities for SAP optimization, and recommend innovative solutions.
   
   
3. Team Leadership: Manage a team of SAP consultants, providing mentorship, guidance, and support in project execution and career development.
   
   
4. Project Management: Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor project progress to ensure successful project delivery.
   
   Oversee the acquisition and development of software systems in organisational units.
   
   Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept/ solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.
   
   
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of SAP implementations by conducting thorough testing, quality control, and best practice adherence.
   
   Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organisation.
   
   
6. SAP Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and provide thought leadership on SAP-related matters.
   
   
7. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
   
   
8. Client Relationships: Foster strong client relationships, manage client expectations, and actively seek opportunities for business expansion and growth.

Qualifications:

• At least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, programming & systems analysis, Science (Computer Studies) or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  
  
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  
  
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  
  
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation.
  
  
• Knowledge of security best practices and cloud security services.
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
  
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  
  
• At least 8-10 years of experience in a relevant industry or consulting role.
  
  Management consulting experience gained through a Big 4 is highly advantageous
• Experienced in engaging and managing a variety of stakeholders
• Prior experience of leading team for projects and pursuits
• Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills in English (additional local language skills are considered an asset)
• Strong expertise in SAP modules
• Demonstrated experience in managing SAP implementation projects from initiation to completion.
  
  
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  
  
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  
  
• Exceptional communication and client-facing skills.
  
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
