Overview
We're looking for a hands-on SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (DevOps Engineer) to own our build, release, and runtime platforms.
You'll design and scale CI/CD pipelines, manage artifact repositories, harden container platforms, and drive best practices across engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) across multiple services and environments.
- Own artifact repository management (JFrog Artifactory, Nexus): layout, retention, cleanup, access control, and provenance.
- Administer and harden Linux-based systems; automate routine ops with shell and Python scripts.
- Build, package, and operate containerized workloads (Docker) on Kubernetes/EKS; standardize deployments with Helm.
- Provision and manage AWS infrastructure; implement observability, logging, scaling, resilience, and cost controls.
- Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation); implement drift detection and change governance.
- Partner with software teams , Java, Python, .NET) to improve build times, quality gates, and deployment safety.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across network, OS, platform, and application layers; lead incident response and postmortems.
- Champion DevOps/SRE best practices: security-by-default, least privilege, secrets management, dependency hygiene, and SDLC controls.
- Create clear runbooks, diagrams, and documentation; mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of strong DevOps experience with end-to-end CI/CD and artifact management.
- Proficiency with GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins .
- Proficiency managing JFrog Artifactory and/or Sonatype Nexus .
- Strong Linux administration and Shell scripting skills.
- Software engineering experience in at least one language: JavaScript , Java , Python , or .NET .
- Hands-on with Docker , Kubernetes , EKS , Helm (relevant certifications a plus).
- Solid AWS experience and understanding of cloud services & infrastructure management (AWS certs a plus).
- IaC expertise with Terraform and/or CloudFormation .
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex, cross-layer systems issues.
- Excellent communicator; fluent in English .
- Team-first mindset; passion for elevating engineering & DevOps best practices.
Nice to have
- Security fundamentals (CIS benchmarks, IAM hardening, vulnerability scanning, SCA).
- Observability stacks (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK).
- Release strategies (blue/green, canary), feature flags, and progressive delivery.
- Experience in regulated or enterprise environments (change control, audit, compliance).
