Position Purposes
The System Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the company's IT infrastructure to ensure its stability, security, and efficiency.
This role requires expertise in both on-premises and cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance across all platforms.
Job Function
- Manage and maintain virtualized environments, primarily using VMware.
- Administer and support servers and services running on Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Plan and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises to ensure business continuity.
- Implement and manage data backup and recovery solutions.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all systems are secured and compliant with company policies.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to support various projects and initiatives.
Education and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration.
- Proven experience with virtualization technologies (VMware).
- Demonstrated experience managing server environments (Windows, Linux).
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and Experiences.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of virtualization, particularly with VMware vSphere.
- Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux systems.
- Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure management on Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Expertise in backup solutions and data recovery best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
