**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
+ 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
+ 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
+ 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
+ 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
+ Experience with Cloud Infrastructure.
+ Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin fluently to support client management in this region.

As a software engineer manager in the Cloud GPU team, you will focus on delivering tangible growth in the AI infrastructure space.
The team grows at the intersection of hardware, software, data science and applied AI, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in accelerated computing.
We collaborate closely with internal and external partners to deliver the foundational infrastructure that fuels advancements in artificial intelligence across various industries.
**Responsibilities**
+ Hire, grow, and mentor talented engineers, building a strong and cohesive team that excels in a fast-paced environment.
+ Drive strategic roadmaps to ensure the Google Cloud Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) fleet remains industry-leading, anticipating future needs and advancements in AI.
+ Collaborating extensively with internal and external partnersto effectively execute on our mission of delivering unparalleled compute acceleration.
+ Drivie operational excellence across the entire GPU fleet, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
+ Advocate the customer, collaborating closely with Google's top AI customers to understand their needs and translate them into product and platform enhancements.
