**Minimum qualifications:**



+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 8 years of experience with software development.

+ 5 years of experience in testing and launching software products.

+ 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

+ 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

+ Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to partner with local clients and regional partners.



**Preferred qualifications:**



+ Experience with storage technologies and managing a team that built and operated systems at scale.

+ Experience in partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (program manager/technical program manager/SRE) and building a solid roadmap of launches/improvements for specific areas.

+ Experience in driving a portfolio of concurrent engineering projects running the gamut from short-term critical feature launches to long-term initiatives.

+ Experience with delighting enterprise customers, and understanding of enterprise workloads.

+ Ability to work with specialists on system designs and ambiguity.

+ Ability to understand and guide work within a large, complex codebase.

**Responsibilities**



+ Lead a team to deliver a high-performance, client experience for Google Cloud Storage and to build a high-performing team to execute on Storage priority of enabling AI/ML workloads for customers.

+ Partner with stakeholders and technical leads to define and execute the technical strategy for Storage and ensure the team's roadmap directly supports the goal.

+ Guide the team through complex architectural decisions and ensure standards for code quality.

Improve the end-to-end customer experience.

+ Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing team of software engineers while fostering an environment.

+ Demonstrate deep customer empathy.
