Solar Project Manager Job Summary As a Solar Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of solar energy projects, from initial design to final handover.
You will oversee all aspects of project execution, including financial performance and on-site management, to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Job Requirements & Responsibilities
Design, build, and install solar energy systems.
This includes hands‐on implementation on‐site and managing the full construction process from pre‐to post‐construction.
Manage project Profit and Loss (P&L) to ensure projects are completed within budget.
Lead and manage installation teams, acting as the key contact point between the company and the client during the construction stage.
Create and execute project work plans, revise as needed, and ensure a smooth delivery and project completion/System Turn On.
Identify and mitigate potential safety risks and ensure all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements are met.
You will also be responsible for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement planning to enhance project delivery processes.
Skills and Competencies
A Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in Solar Project Management.
Experience in solar project execution, particularly with SolarNova, is a significant advantage.
Proficiency in energy modeling software (PVsyst), Autocad, and construction modeling software is required.
