Job Overview: As a Solution Architect specializing in C2 (Command and Control) Solutions for Site Protection and Physical Security, you will be responsible for architecting and overseeing the implementation, the integration of advanced C2 systems that enable real-time monitoring, decision-making, and coordination of physical security operations.

Your role will focus on creating a robust, scalable, and resilient architecture that ensures the efficient management of security operations, emergency response, and site protection protocols across multiple sites and infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Architect C2 Systems for Security Operations:
  2. Architect and design Command and Control (C2) systems tailored to manage and coordinate site protection, surveillance, and emergency response efforts.

  3. Develop end-to-end solutions integrating physical security technologies (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection) with centralized C2 platforms to enable real-time monitoring, decision-making, and operational coordination.

  4. Ensure C2 systems are capable of providing situational awareness, threat identification, incident reporting, and resource management across multiple security operations.

  5. System Integration:
  6. Lead the integration of C2 solutions with various physical security systems, such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, and emergency communication platforms.

  7. Design solutions that allow seamless interoperability between C2 systems, IoT devices, and security monitoring platforms to enable fast, informed decisions during critical events.

  8. Oversee the integration of C2 platforms with broader enterprise systems, including IT infrastructure, facility management, and other operational systems.

  9. Command Center Development and Optimization:
  10. Design and optimize the physical and virtual Command Centers (Security Operations Centers) where security personnel can monitor and respond to incidents in real-time.

  11. Ensure C2 platforms support visualization tools like dashboards, maps, and alerts to provide operators with an intuitive and effective interface for monitoring site conditions.

  12. Integrate artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and predictive analytics to enhance the decision-making capabilities of C2 systems.

  13. Real-Time Data Management and Communication:
  14. Enable the real-time collection, processing, and dissemination of data across all security systems within the C2 environment.

  15. Develop communication systems for quick dissemination of security alerts, incident reports, and coordination between security teams, emergency services, and leadership.

  16. Ensure that C2 solutions provide full visibility of ongoing security incidents and site conditions to support critical decisions and prompt response actions.

  17. Emergency Response and Incident Management:

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Certifications in Command and Control systems or security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are highly desirable.

  • Experience:
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in designing and implementing C2 systems for site protection, physical security, or security operations.

  • Good experience in integrating security technologies with C2 platforms, such as surveillance systems, access control, incident management tools, and communication systems.

  • Expertise in developing or integrating real-time monitoring systems, dashboard solutions, and communication platforms for security operations centers (SOCs) or control rooms.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in C2 systems, IoT-based security solutions, emergency communication systems, and monitoring platforms.
