At Veeam, Solution Engineers work closely with sales to promote our product offerings to end-users and partners.
The Vault Solution Engineer collaborates with Veeam’s field sellers to evangelize the Vault product, providing expertise to inform, educate, and influence end users, partners, and internal teams about Vault technology.
Responsibilities include presenting Veeam’s Vault technology and sharing technical expertise with decision-makers at various levels.
Responsibilities
Work closely with sales to develop Veeam Vault opportunities leading to technical wins
Conduct live and virtual customer presentations and demonstrations
Establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements in collaboration with customers/partners
Provide technical expertise on Vault solutions through independent consultation
Gather customer feedback and collaborate with Product Management
Support pre-sales activities as customers evaluate Veeam software
Guide others in resolving complex issues based on existing solutions or procedures
Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, and user groups
Requirements
Solution sales and/or technical pre-sales experience preferred
5+ years of hands-on experience with Cloud Native technologies, especially on Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or other cloud providers
Deep expertise in Azure services such as Azure VMware, VMs, SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage, Backup
Knowledge of Azure security best practices including IAM, VNET, Firewall, Key Vault
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; high-energy, motivated self-starter
Acts as a point-of-reference for new hires and peers
Excellent time management, written, and verbal skills
Willingness to travel up to 25%
Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, EFS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Backup
Understanding of AWS VPC configuration and backup/disaster recovery solutions
Experience with migration patterns from on-premises to cloud
Industry experience in storage technologies
