Solutions Architect
Role Overview
As a Solutions Architect within the Data & Analytics team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions across multiple business domains.
You'll work on strategic initiatives such as modernizing legacy systems and building new platforms, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Key Projects
Currency Modernization
- Objective: Replace legacy CRM systems with a modern technology stack.
- Challenges: Minimal existing documentation; requires deep architectural analysis and reverse engineering.
- Scope: Upgrade technologies while preserving existing business processes.
Mortgage Application Platform
- Objective: Develop a comprehensive, end-to-end mortgage application from scratch.
- Scope: Encompasses the full mortgage lifecycle including legal workflows, title management, and customer interactions.
- Stakeholders: Lawyers, title agents, internal banking teams.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Solution Design & Implementation:
- Architect and deliver solutions across web, desktop, and mobile platforms that are scalable, secure, and performant.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Business Analysts, Engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide architectural guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.
- Architecture Patterns & Infrastructure Expertise:
- Event-driven architecture
- Caching strategies
- Messaging queues
- API gateways
- Authentication via Azure
- Documentation & Analysis:
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of legacy systems with limited documentation to support modernization efforts.
Technical Environment
- Candidates should be comfortable working across a diverse technology landscape:
- Languages & Frameworks: Java, .NET, Python, Angular, Spring Boot
- Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Azure (especially for authentication and cloud-native services)
- Data & Reporting: SQL, Power BI
- AI & Advanced Technologies:
- Conceptual understanding of:
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Agentic AI patterns
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in enterprise environments
- Prior hands-on development experience in Java, .NET, or Python
- Experience with AWS and event-driven architecture
- Familiarity with AI concepts and their application in modern systems
