Overview

Lutron is seeking a dynamic and driven Specification Account Manager - Hospitality to join our team, working directly with Architects and Interior Designers in Singapore.

In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in expanding Lutron's presence across Southeast Asia, and beyond.

Your mission: to spark demand for Lutron solutions, collaborating with a select group of specifiers to showcase the value of our innovative products.

From concept to completion, you'll guide projects every step of the way—partnering with local and international colleagues to secure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Lutron's strategy for engagement with the Architect and Interior Design community in Singapore and key global projects.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry contacts at senior levels.

  • Specify architectural products in projects and ensure opportunities are tracked in Salesforce.

  • Gather market intelligence to inform business strategies.

  • Deliver presentations and updates in offices, experience centers, and conferences.

  • Drive specifications and sales by collaborating with global sales teams and design firms.

  • Lead and participate in industry committees, tradeshows, and hospitality events.

  • Represent Lutron as a spokesperson for the architectural design community, including social media engagement.

  • Develop and conduct internal training for architectural sales teams.

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to scale messaging and launch solutions.

  • Support product management in gathering market insights and driving Voice of the Customer initiatives.

  • Assist in planning and executing local events, tradeshows, and architectural installations.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of experience in specification sales within the architecture and design (A&D) industry.

  • Established senior-level relationships within Singapore's design community.

  • Proven connections in the A&D industry.

  • Globally minded with an understanding of international construction trends and dynamics.

  • Proven communication skills with the ability to engage principal-level architects and designers.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans.

  • Collaborative team player capable of working across departments, including marketing, communications, sales, and product management.
