Advanced Electronics & Semiconductor Solutions (AESS)

Overall responsibility for dedicated OSAT and Test supplier, incl.

• Tracking of Quality Performance of OSAT's and Test suppliers.
  
  

• Manage 8Ds, Red Alerts and Early Warnings.
  
  

• Responsible for PLC / MLC gate releases.
  
  

• Manage manufacturing release incl.
  
  all industrialization topics and assure execution.
  
  

• Support of yield improvements at Technical Operations Management and Test Program Engineering.
  
  

• Release of Burn-in boards e.g., safe-launch.
  
  

• Responsible for annual re-qualification / reliability monitoring at OSAT .
  
  

• Responsible for Burn-in and 3-temp FT during safe-launch and release report.
  
  

• Responsible for 8D's and FA of customer failures and release of corrective actions.
  
  

• Continues tracking of quality performance at OSAT and Test suppliers.
  
  

• Responsible for MRB releases of production material at OSAT and test supplier.
  
  

• Responsible for test coverage enhancements with Technical Operations Management and Test Program Engineering.
  
  

• Manage TPCR's (test program change requests) of Continental (change request to test supplier e.g., test coverage, yield improvements, TTR, …).
  
  

• Manage PCN's of Continental (change request to OSAT).
  
  

• Perform risk assessments and decision proposals.
  
  

• Responsible for onsite follow-up of all quality related items at OSAT and Test supplier.
  
  

• Tracking of safe-launch actions at OSAT and Test supplier.
  
  

• Continues improvement of quality performance at OSAT and Test suppliers.
  
  

• Supplier Development for OSAT and Test supplier.
  
  

• Perform VDA6.3 audits for technology development and manufacturing processes at AESS suppliers (external).
  
  

• Secure implementation and compliance to IATF and VDA standards.
  
  

• Review Lessons learned & read across implementation at supplier.
  
  

Responsible for product / process change management, incl.

• Evaluate supplier product/process changes, evaluate risks at component level, provide SQM recommendation and coordinate the change release process in Continental.
  
  

• Release on time the Component and Supplier Approval of the supplier product/process changes (Audit, PPAP, PSW).

Support sourcing activities of AESS specific suppliers as part of the overall sourcing team, incl.

• Perform Maturity Evaluation and AESS specific Supplier Component Reviews and provide recommendation for sourcing of AESS suppliers (OSAT, Test, Burn-in, Qualification lab).
  
  

• Agree on safe launch requirements prior sourcing (burn-in, 3-temp FT, pre-production).
  
  

• Approval of qualification plan for pre- / final qualification acc.
  
  AEC-Q100 + CQR.
  
  

• Definition of additional safe-launch measures based on APQP risks.
  
  

• Responsibility for alignment and agreement of sourcing specific quality requirements towards AESS suppliers.
  
  

Responsibility for supplier quality management of specific suppliers within the Category, incl.

• Zero defect strategy has to be ensured and applied at OSAT and Test suppliers.
  
  

• Supplier quality assurance along the complete process chain, incl.
  
  application specific requirements (e.g., functional safety, cybersecurity).
  
  

• Secure implementation and compliance to IATF and VDA standards.
  
  

• Supplier release and technology release by supporting the preferred supplier and process technology strategy.
  
  

• Escalation Management internal/external for component and manufacturing related quality related topics.
  
  

• Supplier Contract Management (get agreement on Quality Agreements, GQA/CQR/QPR) with OSAT and Test suppliers.
  
  

• Implementation and control of appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain.
  
  

• Drive Lessons learned & read across to avoid recurrencies at/and cross supplier.
  
  

• Suppliers development towards Zero Defect and First Time Right incl.
  
  improvement programs and regular reporting of KPIs.

• Project Leader / Coach for Supplier Quality Improvement Programs (S-QIP).
  
  

Support

Support the preferred supplier and component strategy, incl.

• Drive SQM Global Category quality strategy and improvement programs.
  
  

• Define and implement Category Quality Requirements.
  
  

• Deploy lessons learned / read across through the SQM Category.
  
  

• Early involvement in supplier and technology identification, participate in the supplier´s innovation and technology roadmap reviews.
  
  

Support setup, definition and maintenance of quality related AESS tasks, tools and processes, incl.

• RASI setup internal/external with R&D, Technical Operations management, Test Program engineering, OSAT, Test supplier and Continental internal customer (BA).
  
  

• AESS tool and process development for information exchange and release documentation of quality aspects with OSAT and Test suppliers, e.

  data storage of qual reports, PFMEA, control plan, MSA, PPAP, etc.
  
  

• AESS tool and process development for PCN/PTN management, Test Program Change Requests, MRB management, Qualification according to AEC-Q100, 8D and failure analysis, Test traceability matrix (TTM) content management.
  
  

Support setup, definition and maintenance of AESS specific requirements for:

• Technology development audits at OSAT, questionnaire for VDA 2,3,4 to be enhanced.
  
  

• SQIP, KPI's need to be defined to monitor Quality Performance of OSAT and Test Supplier.
  
  

• CQR & QPR, quality spec's need to be tailored and enhanced for OSAT and Test suppliers e.g. PCN from Conti to supplier.
  
  

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Engineering, Business administration or comparable qualification
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in semiconductor industry.
  
  Prefer in OSAT or fabless environment related to test.
  
  
• Proven track record in managing quality for wafer test, final test, and burn-in suppliers.
  
  
• Strong understanding of semiconductor test flows, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
  
  
• With experience in Purchasing, R&D, Controlling or comparable preferably Automotive Industry
• Strong knowledge o AEC-Q100, IATF16949 APQP and PPAP process.
  
  
• Expertise in 8D, FMEA, SPC, DOE and risk management tools.
  
  
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin as need to liaise with Asia and Europe offices
• Strong Decision-Making Skills and entrepreneurship
• Project management knowledge, strong attention to detail and agile result-oriented negotiation skills
• Eager to learn new skillsets and to develop personally
• Strong team contributor, comfortable in collaborating with cross functional and highly multicultural teams in a highly active, fast paced environment across multiple time zones
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills to various levels of the internal and supplier organizations
