Overview
The Senior Project Manager should be experienced in cloud application migration, specifically Sage ERP Software or similar, with expertise in managing the migration from AWS to Azure.
Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager will serve as primary interface between the Consulting Team, Account Management team, other Teams, client teams, and client approved third-parties on the assigned projects.
The Senior Project Manager will work on a range of Consulting engagements, as per the requirements of the team, helping to deliver complex, time restricted engagements across the region.
The Senior Project Manager must ensure customer requirements are met by applying standard (PMI) project management principles, supported by knowledge of ordering, provisioning, and installation processes for both products and its suppliers.
The Senior Project Manager must work with the standard Project Management Framework and deliver according to the Project Management best practices.
The Senior Project Manager will proactively resolve issues that challenge project schedule, scope, cost, or quality and must manage changing needs and priorities of the client.
The Senior Project Manager will maintain the identified standard, formal project documentation and will prepare executive overviews as necessary.
The PM is responsible for managing all aspects of the end-to-end delivery of services to customer as defined by the program structure.
Responsibilities include directing the completion of activities such as architecture design, engineering, change control, and operations acceptance to ensure complete success of delivering service to the customer.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring on time delivery of all the needed documentation, building close relationships with other teams on the project and program.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the project plan, migration plans and associated documentation.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining the Risks, Issues and Actions Log.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the communication of issues and actions to the wider team.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day direction of the security/network team activities in accordance with the agreed project plan.
The Senior Project Manager will provide a forum to discuss complex scope, issues and analysis, minuting the meeting discussions, recording the actions/outcomes and communicating to the appropriate audience.
The Senior Project Manager will demonstrate extensive proven delivery in global deployment of network and/or security related projects.
The Senior Project Manager should also have some Program Management experience, with a history of managing a few large transformation programs delivering multiple streams with Project Manager Direct reports.
In this capacity they should have provided executive dashboards, reporting using automation and efficient approaches.
Required Skills

Formal Project Management certification and experience is required.
Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project and MS PowerPoint.

Taking a leadership role and experience of managing resources across multiple time zones.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working under extremely challenging timeframes and pressure to meet client deadlines.
Being a self-starter and demonstrate the ability to work with a team environment as well as in a standalone role.

Having confidence to address senior management and appraise them of outages in critical situations.
Good experience in working within a change control oriented environment, solid knowledge of testing strategies and defining acceptance criteria.

Delivery across multiple verticals and technology vendor solutions.
Certifications (or equivalent experience)
PRINCE 2 / PMP
BS or BA Degree.
Desired Skills
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certification v3
Experience in working on a global security deployment
Understanding of security terminologies, frameworks and processes.
Successfully delivered multiple large Unified Communications platforms, Managed Services and/or Mobility solutions.
Experience of service management delivery.
