As an Industry 4.0 (I4.0) Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization.
The team defines, drives and delivers end to end smart manufacturing solution, integrated across functions of the business.
The team will apply industry-leading best methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to enhance Micron’s product development, business and administrative processes across the company.
Responsibilities and Tasks
You will collaborate with a skilled team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers to compose, analyze, and implement data science solutions.
Your work will be crucial to identifying cost opportunities and delivering value across different business functions.
Specifically, you will:
- Collaborate with Data Engineers & Data Scientists to efficiently implement I4.0 projects requiring coordination and support of resources from global teams
- Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Central Cost, Site Cost, and Program Management teams to identify and rigorously implement end-to-end AI-based solution for identification of cost opportunities and value capture
- Quantify, track, and monitor the financial and operational impact of I4.0 solutions to the business
- Identify new I4.0 use cases and guidelines within strategic and operational engineering and commercial processes
- Develop business case, including impact validation approach, ROI of potential solutions and prioritize & propose projects for implementation
- Think critically to break down complex data and processes, identifying key levers for applicable solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Systems and Design, Business Analytics, Business Consultancy o r related fields preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in Cost projects and Cost initiatives within Operations functions
- Prior working experience in frontend semiconductor related to Cost Engineering, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering or Business analytics will be advantageous
- Familiar with processes, systems and solutions preferably in the semiconductor industry
- Experience with E2E product design and project management from initial concept to final delivery
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to effectively lead and present to small and large groups
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.
May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
