Staff Engineer/Manager, Manufacturing Test
Control and manage resources to maximize test equipment uptime for production requirements.
Modify, install, and improve test systems and procedures.
Participate in employee involvement teams.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance on test equipment.
Provide training to Test Engineering Assistants and Technicians.
Perform special projects as assigned.
Resolve all test hardware and software issues to meet zero TPF.
Develop and drive actions for the test TTT for all products.
Modify test software to enhance testing methods and supervise the work of technical personnel.
Manager, Manufacturing Test
Meet departmental goals related to cost, responsiveness, and quality.
Manage CAPEX spending within the allocated budget.
Supervise and coach subordinates, implementing company policies (for managerial roles).
Drive LEAN initiatives on manufacturing lines.
Provide technical expertise and training to staff.
Support future manufacturing testing developments.
Implement and execute plans to meet organizational goals.
Manage yield, quality, and process improvements.
Develop and promote new technologies and processes.
Lead teams to improve manufacturing testing and processes.
Oversee development of manufacturing processes with a focus on cost efficiency and quality to match product design.
Serve as a manufacturing test expert and provide advice on qualification for new line setups.
Manage new product/process start-ups, transfers, and change management.
Qualifications include a degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Production, or Chemical Engineering, with at least 15 years of experience, including 12 in manufacturing testing and 3 in a managerial role.
Must be independent, with strong communication, time management, analytical, and decision-making skills.
