Responsible for providing full physical failure analysis support for qualifications, new product introduction (NPI), and general failures from high volume manufacturing (HVM).Subject matter expert on physical failure analysis methodology and tool.Drive and sustain 6S with Safety Protocol as first guiding principle.Certify and comply with lab/chemical safety protocolsOperate FA tools including but not limited to: Ion Millers, FIB/EDX, SEM, 2D/3D X-ray, X-section, planar grinding and other Lab toolsStrong problem solver covering interdependent process relationship between device layout architecture, fabrication process and assembly packaging process.Present findings and provide in-sight on possible fail model to assist manufacturing process owners to find and fix the root cause.To improve the failure analysis process in order to reduce lead time or turn-around-time (TAT), and increase failure mechanism assignment accuracy and consistency.Lead a group of PFA Technicians supporting the PFA Operation, Over-time and expenses management (consumable, tool maintenance, CAPEX for new tool if neededetc)Work with vendors on FA tools upgrade and general maintenanceCollaboration with vendor and partners to provide guidance on training to PFA Technicians.Develop new technique and adopt best known methodsContinuous drive to improve sample preparation and efficiencyCreate and maintain Failure Analysis report results in database and drive KPIRequirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical/ Material/ Electrical/Electronic or equivalent, with at least 10 years of relevant experience Physical Failure Analysis subject matter expert experienceLab equipment management andregulatory compliance experienceExperience in leading teams is preferredSelf-motivated and driven and able to work independently with minimal to no supervision neededObjective driven to achieve targets in tight schedule with limited resourcesStrong communication skills and coordinating abilities to work across various functional teamGood and positive interpersonal skills and growth mindsetPotential to take on leadership role
