Store Supervisor (Up to 4.7K) (Monday – Saturday: 8am - 5pm)

Responsible for the management of our multiple stores to supervise movement of inventory as well as storemen's performance.
Job Description:
Store & Inventory Management
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure all activities comply with SOPs and safety standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels; ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records.
- Conduct regular stock-takes and generate reports on site usage, wastage, and damages.
- Ensure proper tracking and return of tools/equipment; oversee maintenance logs.
- Check welder's fabrication work to ensure it meets drawings/specifications before dispatch.
- Understand metal fabrication timelines and quality; verify output against drawings.
- Lead setup and planning for new stores (including open yard layouts).
- Ensure store meets government agencies' compliance requirements for NEA, PUB, LTA and SCDF and other relevant agencies.
- Regular inspection of stores to ensure proper housekeeping and premises free of pests and mosquitoes.
- Stores must always pass government agencies spot checks.
- Liaise with site personnel to understand and fulfil material and equipment requirements.
- Monitor and ensure availability of store inventory: track, document, and coordinate replacement of damaged or faulty items.
- Attend daily safety briefings alongside store personnel to maintain awareness of ongoing site and store safety matters.
- Ensure store personnel follow safe work procedures and maintain a hazard-free environment.
System & Process Oversight
- Use and supervise entries on in-house ERP System (training provided).
- Process purchase and delivery orders via ERP System; work closely with purchasers to maintain records.
Personnel Management
- Supervise storemen, ensuring adherence to SOPs and proper conduct.
- Plan and manage storeman's leave to ensure stores are adequately staffed at all times.
- Ensure storemen/ operators wear proper PPE and operate safely.
- Identify training needs, conduct briefings, and handle staff counselling/warnings.
- Conduct annual appraisals for storemen and excavator operators.
Requirements:
- Minimally 3 years of supervisory experience in the construction industry.
- Familiar with inventory control and metal fabrication processes.
- Intermediate computer skills; exposed with Power Apps or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 and/or Globe 3 will be an added advantage.
- Good time management and critical thinking skills.
- Firm personality, communicates effectively, takes initiative.
- Proven ability to manage and lead foreign workers and implement culture change.
- Holds a valid driver's license (optional).
