Role Overview
As a Strategic Account Manager in the Medical Division, you will manage key global customers, develop tailored solutions, and expand the company's presence in next-generation OEM and niche application markets.
You'll play a vital role in driving business growth, exploring new markets, and building strong, long-term partnerships
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and grow key customer relationships within your assigned portfolio.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in targeted markets and segments.
- Coordinate cross-functional account activities across the Medical Division to maximize global synergies.
- Lead and manage the sales pipeline, providing timely updates on project status and forecasts.
- Drive and lead price negotiations, ensuring competitive yet profitable outcomes.
- Prepare annual sales and profitability budgets for assigned accounts.
- Monitor major market or customer developments and propose proactive strategies.
- Representing at trade shows, conferences, and customer events; compile post-event reports.
- Expand and nurture existing market segments in alignment with divisional strategy.
- Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong engagement based on priority and planning.
- Communicate company updates to customers and gather relevant market intelligence.
- Ensure accurate, real-time data entry in ERP and Salesforce systems; support CRM initiatives.
- Effectively utilize sales tools such as ERP, Salesforce, Excel, and Outlook.
- Manage customer contracts, addressing payment issues, order changes, and cancellations.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales colleagues to share insights on customers, projects, and market trends.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in technical or engineered products.
Experience in springs, stamping, or precision components is a strong plus.
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Sales/Marketing, or a relevant commercial field.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) to effectively communicate with English and Mandarin speaking regional customers and partners.
- Proficiency in German is an advantage due to global team interaction.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP platforms.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and international collaboration.
