Sushi Chef
to join our team.
We are a new concept focusing on a high-quality, counter-style omakase and handroll experience, where craftsmanship, precision, and guest experience are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve sushi, sashimi, handrolls, and omakase courses to the highest standards.
Ensure freshness, quality, and presentation of all ingredients.
Manage preparation, portioning, and storage according to best practices.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
Engage with guests warmly during service, explaining dishes and enhancing their dining experience.
Collaborate with the head chef and culinary team to innovate and uphold Kurisu Sushi’s standards.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Sushi Chef, preferably in a fine dining or omakase setting.
Deep knowledge of Japanese ingredients, fish handling, knife skills, and traditional techniques.
Passion for Japanese cuisine and dedication to continuous improvement.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Professionalism, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Japanese language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
