We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Analyst & Administrator to join our team.
This role combines technical expertise in system analysis with hands-on administration of IT infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will excel at evaluating business requirements, designing efficient system solutions, and ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT environment.
Responsibilities
- System Analysis
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
- Evaluate existing systems, identify inefficiencies, and propose process or technical improvements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform impact analysis for proposed system changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align system solutions with organizational goals.
- System Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and business applications.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security policies.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system incidents in a timely manner.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and patch management.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience managing databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with system monitoring and automation tools (e.g., Nagios, Ansible, PowerShell).
- Analytical & Problem-Solving
- Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Excellent documentation and system design skills.
- Critical thinking for root cause analysis and continuous optimization.
- Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Effective time management and prioritization under pressure.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in system analysis and administration.
- Proven track record of supporting enterprise-level IT environments.
- Strong understanding of IT security practices and compliance requirements.
- Chinese speaking as you will be communicating with chinese counterparts.
