(What the role is)
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Systems Analyst to join our team in supporting the operations, implementation, and governance of digital systems within the public sector.
This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partner agencies to ensure stable system performance, effective delivery of enhancements, and compliance with relevant government frameworks and policies.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining day-to-day operations of enterprise systems, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and upholding standards in cybersecurity, data protection, and IT governance.
(What you will be working on)
System Operations & Support
- Provide day-to-day support for the smooth operation and maintenance of enterprise IT systems.
- Perform system configurations and assist in applying enhancements or customisations.
- Support integration and interoperability testing across government and agency systems.
- Monitor system performance and availability; raise and track issues where necessary.
- Maintain accurate system documentation, including workflows and operating procedures.
- Coordinate with appointed vendors and partners for technical support and issue resolution.
Technical Implementation
- Support the delivery and implementation of technical solutions within agreed service levels.
- Conduct system testing, quality assurance, and defect management.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development of technical specifications and user guides.
- Assist with backup, recovery, and business continuity activities.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-deployment reviews.
Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement
- Collaborate with business units to gather system requirements and provide technical input.
- Coordinate with implementation partners, contractors, and third-party service providers.
- Prepare regular updates, technical reports, and progress briefings for stakeholders.
- Assist in user engagement activities including training, onboarding, and system demonstrations.
- Track service requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Maintain documentation in accordance with IM8, IT governance, and audit requirements.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity controls and policies.
- Help manage system access controls and user permissions in line with data security standards.
- Support compliance with PDPA, government data classification, and retention policies.
- Assist in incident reporting, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
- Ensure alignment with audit, security, and regulatory requirements for system documentation.
Project & Procurement Support
- Assist in preparing procurement documentation, such as requirements specifications and evaluation criteria, for IT projects and services.
- Support the evaluation, onboarding, and monitoring of vendors during project execution.
- Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure compliance with contract terms and government policies.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align project goals and ensure stakeholder engagement.
- Prepare project status reports, meeting minutes, and compliance documentation.
- Stay informed of industry best practices, public sector ICT guidelines, and emerging technologies.
(What we are looking for)
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in IT operations, system support, or project coordination.
- Familiarity with public sector IT governance frameworks (e.g. IM8), cybersecurity, and data protection standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment when required.
- Understanding of Procurement Processes and vendor management in the Public Sector
